How do we avail the service?
You can call our hotline and operations team 24/7. One of our friendly and accommodating case coordinators will walk you throught the entire process and will answer any questions that you have, providing cost effective solutions to your medical transport needs. Case Coordinators will ask you some pertinent questions about the patient and its condition, and then will respond to you with a written proposal. The entire process will only take a few minutes.
2. Are you an agent/broker?
Kadexs Medevac Ambulance Service is a service provider who owns and operates ground ambulance units and has a wide network for partner aircraft providers. All medical staff and crew are in-house and experienced for aeromedical environment.
3. What are the modes of payment?
Payment options include cash, online bank transfer, check, and PayPal. Other e-payments are also available, as long as the payment confirmation made is required prior to transfer mission or as arranged by your insurance and or Assistance company

5. What are the requirements for the transfer?
Initially, the requirements that we will be needing are the following:
1. Medical Abstract
2. Referral Form
3. Letter of Acceptance from receiving Hospital
4. Hospital-to-hospital endorsement
5. Patient and Companions ID
6. What service is right for us?
It is completely dependent on the medical requirements of the patient, the logistical challenges, and other factors available.
Our team is ready to assist you and advise on the options available.
7. How many luggages are we allowed to bring?
For luggages, we limit it to 40kls or 2 medium sized trolleys with carry on bags, Our units are outfitted with a significant amount of medical equipment and space is limited. The patients care is always the priority.
8. Can a loved one or companion accompany the patient?
In most cases, patient are allowed to have upto 2 companions travel with them at no additional charge. The number of companions will vary and is controlled depending on the medical condition and needs of the patient, medical personnel onboard, and the type of aircraft/ambulance to be used.
9. Do you provide written proposal or quotation?
Yes. It is very important for you to obtain a written proposal for every transaction and transfer. This will give an overview on what you will expect and what exactly you will receive in the transfer.
10. Is the proposal or quotation all inclusive?
Yes. When you have spoken to one of our case coordinators, they will provide you with a detailed and written quotation/ proposal. The document has info regarding the aircraft to be used, itinerary, plan of action, estimated cost, terms and conditions. This would be emailed to you and we will be asking for you to send us back a signed copy once agreed.
11. What are your operating hours?
Our Case coordinators are available at our operations center 24 hrs a day 7 days a week. We look forward to receiving your call and to have an opportunity to serve you and be of help.
12. Is your service covered by medical insurance?
Medical insurers usually pay for the services if they are covered in terms of insurance benefits. Usually, Such services are covered by insurances
If medically speaking, it is the most appropriate mode of transport and most reasonable. We are able to assist you in verifying from your insurance and coordinate
13. Is there any notice period, and what is the launch time for transport?
No notice time is required; however our ability to deliver the service in non-emergency cases is subject to availability and clearance times of our units and team. For our air ambulance, the preparation and launch time averages to 1-2hrs for domestic, 24-48hrs for international, following overflight and landing permissions being secured from relevent authorities. For Medical escort and commercial transport, 3-5 days for clearance of medif forms and airline documents processing.
14. Can you arrange for a commercial medical escort as an alternate for an air ambulance?
Yes. We will advise if this is an option, we can fully arrange an all inclusive commercial escort service, including securing of necessary documents for airline approval and patient with companion tickets.
15. How do you differ from other service providers in terms of quality?
Service quality depends on the aircraft, equipment, medical staff, ground staff and coordination. From the moment we take your call until you reach your final destination, Kadexs gives thorough and quality service. If you are comparing several options, consider very carefully the type of units used, travel time and route, patient requirements, and level of qualification of the medical staff offered.
16. Can you fly or transport at night?
For Ground Ambulance, we are able to operate and transport 24/7 once all pertaining documents and transfer requirements are met.
For Air Ambulance, for safety reasons we do not fly to airstips or runways that do not have the capability for night landing. However, we will look at all options and alternative plan of action possible. Earliest departure is at 6AM.
